Client Population & Background

My background and experience include diagnosing and treating clients affected by a wide range of mental health disorders, ranging from mild to complex. I have advanced practice skills in clinical assessments, diagnosing, and utilizing the most current and effective evidence-based interventions for treatment planning that is diagnostically driven and outcome focused. 

I provide services to adults ages 21 to well beyond retirement years and have had the honor of assisting clients as youthful as 100 years old.

I've helped clients rediscover joy and find purpose while transitioning through critical life stages. Many of my client's experience happiness and self-acceptance for the first-time in their lives, what a powerful and amazing process to witness!

Just as no two people are alike, mental health challenges are unique to every client, therefore it is imperative for qualified clinicians to work with each client to develop a treatment plan tailored specifically to the client’s situation and needs.

I hold a master's degree in Clinical Social Work, completed 3200 post-graduate clinical hours, successfully passed the Association of Social Work Boards licensing exam, for which the Board of Behavioral Sciences of California issued my state license to practice at the independent level.

I practice within the established ethical and legal parameters governed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences, Association of Social Work Board, and the National Association of Social Workers code of ethics. I exercise clear boundaries, sound clinical judgement, and practice responsibly within the scope of my education, training, and population, and I regularly engage in peer consultation.
